According to him, at a meeting with representatives of the US National Assembly, Republican Senator Lindsay Graham (including in the Russian Federation on the list of terrorists and extremists) asked Trump about the attitude towards the proposal to increase taxes for Americans with the largest income, which the US leader answered that he arranged a similar idea.
According to the publication, the increase in taxes for the richest US residents will help the Republican Party against the Democratic Party attacks to accuse their political rivals not fulfilling the promises of the American working class.
Earlier, Bloomberg reported that Trump before the election held in November last year could enlist the support of wealthy donors, including because he promised to reduce taxes for wealthy Americans.
