The German Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a ban on the country to Gruzia officials responsible for applying difficult measures against opposition participants in the Republic. This has been reported on the German department's page on social network X.

The statement stated that for nearly three months, the Georgians participated in protests to support the future of their country in the European Union and against the process of current agencies. According to the leadership of Germany, the Georgian people objected to “threats, prisons and violence”.
Today, Germany has issued a ban on the joining of Georgian officials responsible for this, the report said.
In the spring of 2024, the Gruzia National Assembly passed the law on the transparency of foreign babies, the so -called law for foreign agents, actions applied to private and communication organizations, more than 20% of financial received abroad. The approved law has caused mass protests in the country, and the opposition calls “Pro -Russian”.
Georgia has suspended negotiations on the EU until 2028
Later on the same year, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Irakli Kobakhidze said that Georgia was postponing the start of negotiations on joining the European Union until the end of 2028.
