Apple may refuse to use titanium in iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max, replacing it with aluminum.

Earlier, Apple gradually moved from aluminum to stainless steel, and then to titanium in iPhone 15 Pro.
This document allows to reduce the weight of the devices, but now the company has decided to return to the aluminum frame. The reason is the environmental consideration: aluminum has lower carbon traces and Apple strives for carbon neutralization by 2030.
Interestingly, according to insiders, the new Air iPhone 17 model, on the contrary, will receive a case of titanium. Perhaps it will be done in the same way as the last Apple Watch Ultra and Mac Mini, where titanium is combined with aluminum.
All the details of the iPhone 17 documents will be closer to September when Apple will officially introduce a new line.
