From Novorossiysk to Lagos (the port city of Nigeria), they plan to launch a regular sea message. This was reported by TASS related to the trade representative of the Russian Federation in Nigeria Maxim Petrov during a visit to the Russian delegation to Mali.

According to him, this will strengthen trade with Mali, where agricultural products, equipment and transportation of Russia have high demand, and in turn, our country is very interesting when importing Mali cotton. It should be noted that the total number of cultural cases in Mali exceeds 650 thousand tons per year.
Petrov emphasized that in recent years, with the normal sea opening Novorossiysk – Lagos, the successful development of Russia with Mali has received new prospects.
In addition to federal officials, the delegation includes employees of Russia's largest exploitation and energy companies.
