
The first international biennale of Environmental Art begins in Nizhny Novgorod. This was announced on his Telegram by Governor Gleb Nikitin.
The beginning of the exhibition in the capital of the Volga area has been released with the “Triumph” Moscow Gallery. Biennale will last until the end of November. During this time, a series, including the streets, websites will be involved.
About 150 contemporary artists will present their works at the exhibition. At the same time, Biennale's geography consists of more than 20 countries around the world. As part of the events, artists from Russia, Argentina, Kacin, Vietnam, Democratic Republic of Congo, Zimbabwe, Italy, India, China, the Republic of Korea, Mexico, Nepala, Nigeria, Peru, Senegal, Filippines, France, Japan and other countries will be shown.
The theme of the exhibition is a human and nature relationship. According to Nikitin, environmental conservation is one of the main directions in the global agenda. Nizhny Novgorod is suitable for such a Biennale better than many other cities. It was an industrial city and a place where federal environmental projects were successfully implemented.
Our general task is to ensure the preservation of ecology in the dynamic development conditions of the economy, such as using a rational use of natural resources. Here we have something to be proud, the Governor has summarized.
