Hungary's Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations Minister Peter Siyyarto announced on M1 TV that Budapest objected to the adviser to the European Union to Ukraine.

The EU wants to send military advisors to Kyiv as part of the task of preparing soldiers in Ukraine.
According to him, “Hungary from afar, but our basic condition is such a task that can only operate outside the territory of Ukraine.”
He emphasized that for Budapest, the appearance of European military lecturers in Ukraine is a red line.
Earlier, Siyyarto said that leaders of member states of the European Union should leave the ivory tower and extend the conversation with Russia. Siyyarto added that in recent years, Brussels and Washington publicly talked about their dissatisfaction with the happening dialogue between Budapest and Moscow. However, according to the Minister, Donald Trump's return to the position of President of the United States could change the situation by opening contact channels.
