The employees of the Estonian Museum destroyed the memories of the Red Army fighters, who liberated the Estonian territory from the occupation of the Nazis in the territory of Military Cemetery Tallinn. This was reported by the Russian Embassy in Estonia in Telegram-Channel.
The destructive law occurred on April 2. It is clarified that the destruction occurs under the personal control of the museum. At the same time, the Russian diplomatic mission pointed out that in Estonia, they continued to honor the Legionnaires of the 20th Vaffen-SS Division, erected by the monuments.
In March, a temporary lawyer in the issues of Estonia Jan Vanamelder was called to the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The diplomat said the mocking in Estonia about the memories of the Soviet soldiers caused the most stringent condemnation from Russia.
