Microsoft Corporation has released a large KB5053656 update for Windows 11 users. Solve a replacement Neowin version.
The update does not contain security patches available for Windows 11 of the 24h2 version. The update has a number of functions related to artificial intelligence (AI) and virtual assistant. Therefore, a smart search has been added to the operating system, allowing you to find documents, build a human language search query.
Microsoft found that users do not need to remember the file name or date exactly when they are changed. The search function will work on Copilot+ computers with the selected neuros – so far it is only available on devices with Snapdragon chip. Search can operate without connecting a device to the Internet.
Also added to the OS, the subtitle function directly has been added, allowing you to create subtitles in 44 languages for any video. On the computer, on the basis of the Snapdragon processor, a foreign speech option for different languages has appeared – including Russian.
In addition, with the release of KB5053656, about 40 errors that have been repaired in Windows 11 include the incident of the online mission manager and the error, because the computer after leaving the sleep mode faces an important BSOD error.
At the end of March, Microsoft launched Windows Roadmap – a website to track the new Windows operating system functions. With it, you can see which functions are available in the operating system at the test stage and when they appear in public versions.
