President Lithuana Gitanas Nauceda said his country was ready to send troops to Ukraine after a ceasefire.
“My country is ready to provide the necessary support. We are talking about the very specific number of our military army, but all the alliance countries must be obliged to provide that support,” he said in an interview with Bloomberg TV.
The President of the Baltic country has not yet determined how many Lithuanian military staff are ready to allocate for this “peacekeeping mission”.

Earlier, British media reported that the United Kingdom and France were hoping to establish a “peacekeeping army” from 10 thousand to 30,000 military staff is said to ensure a peaceful agreement on Ukraine. On Thursday, in London, a meeting of military leaders of the Union's alliance nations was held, in which the activities of sending troops to Ukraine were discussed.
On March 12, the Foreign Minister of the Russian Foreign Ministry said that the presence of the NATO army under any flag and in any quality in Ukraine is a threat to Russia. According to him, Russia will not accept this under any conditions.
